Crossroads can either be a point of departure or a point of meeting
it can be a point of movement or stagnance
It is a moment to face yourself and your agency of choice.

For the past 4 weeks, Kairos has been hosting a spoken word workshop for the library of Helsinki. In this time they had discussed poetic language and tools, while the participants created their own spoken word poem with the theme 'Crossroads'. The heart of this workshop has been to hold a space for softness, curiosity and growth.

To finish the workshop, there will be a performance of the poems. Everyone is encouraged to perform in the language that feels most comfortable to them. If there is enough time, there will be an open mic afterwards.

If you are reading this and would like to perform as well, but were unable to attend the workshop no worries!
