Come and join for evening of solidarity, music and film to Old Pasila Turntable on Friday 18th August at 5pm - 23pm organized together with Debt for Climate Finland Action Group, Museum of Impossible Forms, Red Forest, and Dodo.

The event will open with a short film screening and a presentation by the Tehuantepec's Assembly Delegation, who are visiting Helsinki.
A discussion and short political speeches from civil resistance associations will follow.

This event is organised in the purpose of Tehuantepec Assembly representatives' visit, who are traveling in Europe to share their struggles against extractivist megaprojects and to build global alliances to protect the lands, bodies and cultures under threat. Come hear more about the large mega-projects underway in the southern and south-eastern region of Mexico.

During the event we ask, How to build solidarity from the Global North?
During the event we aim to raise money to cover the travel and insurance costs of the delegates from Mexico.
Drop some coins at the venue or support the event by mobilepay, if you can.
